Museo del Prado
The Museum has an unparalleled set of universally recognized masterpieces. A collection consisting of 7.600 paintings, 1.000 sculptures, 4.800 prints and 8.200 drawings of which the Museum currently exhibits somewhat less than 1.000 works. Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum
A unique collection in the European field formed by invaluable works of English, German, Dutch and primitive Italian schools, as well as different European avant-garde, impressionist, expressionist and American painting of the second half of the twentieth century. Reina Sofia Museum
The Reina Sofía National Art Center Museum is the most important international modern and contemporary art museum in Spain. National Archaeological Museum

CaixaForum Madrid
Caixa Forum Madrid is a futuristic building. A cultural and outreach space that holds temporary exhibitions, workshops, conferences, courses and concerts. Designed by the Swiss architects Herzog and de Meuron that occupies what was the Central Eléctrica del Mediodía. The Royal Botanical Garden
The Royal Botanic Garden of Madrid was founded by Fernando VI in 1755 and moved to its current location in the Plaza de Murillo next to the Prado Museum, in 1781. In its interior there are species obtained in expeditions made to America and the Pacific as well as European. National Museum of Decorative Arts
Very close to the Prado Museum is this museum that houses in its 60 rooms a collection of almost 65.000 pieces of different periods and styles.
