Selection process "Fotocanal. Photography book"

Any photographer, regardless of their place of birth, residence, or age, can participate by submitting an unpublished project to the competition that has never been published in book format.

The photographer should be the sole owners of the copyright of the work.

A dossier must be prepared that contains:

• A document in pdf format with a short explanatory text of the project.
• A CV of the photographer, in Spanish or English.
• A series of 30 to 60 jpeg-quality photos, 1500x 2000 pixels approx. and 72 dpi.

The 2025 competition involves editing, publishing, and distributing the project in photobook format with Dalpine Editions. Participants guarantee that, if selected, they will submit all images in TIFF format, with a minimum width of 30 cm and 300 dpi.

The co-editors will be in charge of the editing, design, pre-pressing, printing, distribution and dissemination of the book on all its national and international channels.

Year after year, a specialized jury of recognized prestige in the world of photography and representatives of the Community of Madrid is convened. The jury decides the winning proposal, taking into account the quality of the project and its narrative possibilities.
