Hispanic 2024
All accents fit in Madrid
Music / Dance / Theatre / Conferences / Folklore / Cinema / Gastronomy / Exhibitions
This year, Hispanidad 2024, from October 4 to 13, is consolidating its fourth edition as the reference event in Spain for the commemoration of Hispanic heritage and is becoming international thanks to the presence of artists and companies from Latin America, all with the common denominator of speaking a language, Spanish, which is used by more than 600 million people.
Mexico will be a guest country for Hispanidad 2024.
More than 100 activities will take place in the streets and main cultural spaces of Madrid, covering different disciplines such as music, theatre, folklore, visual arts and literature. Artists from more than 20 countries and the main cultural institutions of our region will participate (Casa Museo Lope de Vega, Museo Cerralbo, Residencia de Estudiantes, Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando, Museo del Traje, Jardines del Palacio de Vista Alegre, Museo de América, Centro Sefarad-Israel or Casa México, among others), as well as art galleries, which have programming by Latin American artists and companies.
The opening speech to kick off the activities will take place on October 4. From then on, street performances, recitals, concerts, exhibitions and workshops, as well as gastronomic proposals, will make this celebration a benchmark for celebrating the Spanish language and cultural wealth.
A great opportunity for Madrid residents, and for those who visit us, to enjoy and celebrate Hispanic Heritage 2024. Because all accents fit in Madrid.
