Joan Fontcuberta (Barcelona, ​​1955) is an artist, curator, essayist and teacher. He is considered one of the most relevant current photographers in Europe and one of the most recognized and respected voices on the international scene. His extensive career has now exceeded four decades, a long journey that has allowed him to show his work during these years on five continents.

Among other mentions, he has been awarded in 1988 with the David Octavious Hill medal, awarded by the Fotografisches Akademie GDL of Germany. In 1994 he was distinguished Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French Ministry of Culture. In 1998 he won the National Photography Prize, awarded by the Ministry of Culture of Spain and in 2011 the National Essay Prize. Flat Tanit (Barcelona, ​​1975) is a teacher, artist and a graduate in Audiovisual Communication from Pompeu Fabra University. Use photography and video as tools to generate questions. He has worked on the representation of the family environment and domestic space, as well as on various participatory photographic projects.

Founding member of the contemporary photography collective NOPHOTO, he has maintained an intense relationship with image pedagogy, which has led him to create and direct different educational projects related to photography and image, such as Districte 3 or the Laboratory of the Arts The Caixa.

He has received scholarships and awards such as the Fotopres 2001, Discoveries PHOTOEspaña 2002 and has exhibited at Àrts Santa Mónica or at festivals such as PHOTOEspaña or the Terre d'Images de Biarritz.
