Theoretical and practical training around film and audiovisual

The Community of Madrid promotes theoretical and practical training in the audiovisual sector with the Film Madrid Forma initiative, with the aim of promoting professional training within the audiovisual sector. A project by Film Madrid, the Filming Office of the Community of Madrid.

Controller courses and meetings in collaboration with Notodofilmfest

This training project has started with the free controller course for audiovisual projects, which ran until November 28, in collaboration with APPA (Association of Audiovisual Production Professionals) and aimed at future professionals in the accounting department and the team of production

The training, promoted by Film Madrid Forma, continues with a series of talks and meetings in collaboration with Notodofilmfest, in online format until December 22.

This training program is made up of four sessions that aim to share film production practices and promote the audiovisual development of filmmakers through theoretical training and practical experimentation.

Four workshops in masterclass format by renowned names in the industry, which has a special relationship with the Madrid region. In these sessions, the keys to different disciplines of audiovisual creation are presented, in addition to sharing, first-hand, various experiences and encouraging the creative development of young professionals, with a simple and accessible training model.

In charge of great professionals in the sector

Those in charge of the sessions respond to a generation of Madrilenians and residents of Madrid who have developed their careers in the field of short and feature films and who are a reference for the industry and for young people who are starting their careers in the audiovisual field.

The first session was held on November 12 by Eva Leira and Yolanda Serrano, casting directors of hits such as The paper house, Veneno o Homeland.

The next masterclass was given by Gracia Querejeta, with a talk on November 27, about film directing, staging and planning and ordering a shoot. Querejeta is a renowned Madrid actress, screenwriter and director, and her filmography includes films and documentaries such as Héctor, Seven French Pool Tables o The Last Voyage of Robert Rylands.

The leading film production of the December 10 class, by Álvaro Longoria. A talk by the founder of Morena Films, known and recognized for producing films such as Champions, by Javier Fesser or Che, the Argentinian by Steven Soderbergh.

The Film Madrid Forma training program ends on December 22, with a masterclass with the script as the protagonist, to address issues such as the transition from the initial idea to the script, the construction of the dialogues or the dramatized reading with actors. All sessions are free and have limited places in order to facilitate closeness and learning.
