This section describes the latest debentures and bonds issued by the Region of Madrid, as well as the current status of the public debt primary and secondary market.
Primary Market
Pursuant to article 93.1 under Law 9 / 1990, of 8 November, on the Regulation of the Treasury of the Region of Madrid "Borrowings may be recognised as book entries, securities or any other instruments that recognises them formally"In turn, subsection XNUMX states that"the securities issued by the Regional Goverment of Madrid provide the same benefits and are subject to the same terms as the National Goverment Debt.".
Latest public operations issued by the Community of Madrid
El January 30, 2024 The Council of Ministers authorized the Community of Madrid to formalize operations for a maximum amount of 3.015.868.052,55 euros and the May 14, 2024 The Council of Ministers authorized the Community of Madrid to formalize operations for a maximum amount of 941.250.000 euros. The latest operations formalized under these Agreements are:
-Syndicated public broadcast in sustainable format, the seventh in this format for the Community of Madrid, formalized in February, contributing to the construction of the sustainable curve of the Community, with the following characteristics:
Amount: € 1.000.000.000,00.
Issue and disbursement date: February 29, 2024.
Amortization date: April 30, 2034.
Placement entities: BBVA, Banco Santander, HSBC, ING, Caixabank and Banco Sabadell.
-Syndicated public broadcast Green, the fifth in this format for the Community of Madrid, formalized in the month of May, with the following characteristics:
Amount: € 600.000.000,00.
Issuance and disbursement date: May 31, 2024.
Amortization date: July 30, 2029.
Placement entities: BBVA, CaixaBank, Citi, Crédit Agricole CIB, Deutsche Bank and Santander.
