Heritage interventions
intro text
The Community of Madrid intervenes in an extensive set of movable and immovable property and archaeological sites with the aim of achieving its conservation, restoration and enhancement.
Any intervention on cultural heritage assets must respect their historical, artistic, and cultural values, require prior authorization, and follow the practices and intervention criteria established in current legislation. The interventions are carried out by qualified professionals and multidisciplinary teams and involve exhaustive pre- and post-documentation processes: drafting projects, reports, photographs, reports, and everything necessary to document the process and disseminate it.

Restoration works at the Talamanca del Jarama Charterhouse
Built between the 17th and 18th centuries for the Carthusian monks of the Monastery of El Paular, the Cartuja is one of the best examples in Spain of historic architecture intended for agricultural uses. We are restoring the different buildings of this complex to ensure the conservation of this outstanding Site of Cultural Interest. Discover the latest works carried out at the Cartuja.
