The Goya Awards reward the cinema supported by the Community of Madrid
11 won prizes, including feature films and short films
The feature film "El Reino" by Rodrigo Sorogoyen managed to win 7 awards, including best director and best original script, while Arantxa Echevarría won the award for best new director for her film "Carmen y Lola". The short films "Cerdita" and "Cazatalentos" also won the Goya for best fiction short and best animation short respectively. All of them received support from the Community of Madrid.
