In the heart of the city, the splendid old 13th-century market square has exceptional monuments such as the 17th-century play corral, the taxpayers' circle, the town hall, the 19th-century bandstand and the emblematic statue of Cervantes. which has given its name to the rectangular square for more than a century. Main square of Colmenar de Oreja
One of the most beautiful porticoed main squares in the region, where time seems to have stopped since the 17th century. The stone of the columns and pilasters of buildings such as the Pósito house is from Colmenar itself. The unique square is a magnificent example of the Castilian squares of the time and its arcades. Plaza de Segovia de Navalcarnero
Of the many squares of the royal town, it is the most picturesque and beautiful. The porticoed plaza from the 17th century, with typical popular Castilian architecture, draws attention for its openness and irregular floor plan.
